Designed for adults experiencing significant mental health challenges without active substance use issues, this program offers a structured, compassionate, and clinically sound alternative to inpatient hospitalization.
Whether transitioning from a short-term hospital stay or seeking consistent therapeutic care, our mental health intensive outpatient program (MH IOP) and extended care options are now available to clients across New Jersey, including Cherry Hill, Camden, Woodbury, Washington Township, and Turnersville and the surrounding areas.
Outpatient Mental Health Services: What We Treat
Recovery at the Crossroads’ new outpatient mental health services focus on individuals diagnosed with:
- Major Depressive Disorder
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorders
The program specializes in serving mental health primary clients, meaning individuals whose primary challenge is psychiatric—not substance-related. Clients with co-occurring disorders or challenges in managing pain medication are eligible, provided they are medically stable and not currently experiencing acute psychotic symptoms.

- Psychiatric Evaluations
- Medication Monitoring
- Individual Therapy
- Psychoeducation and Discussion Groups
- Socialization and Wellness Activities

Who Is Eligible?
Recovery at the Crossroads accepts adult clients who:
- Are 18 years or older
- Are medically and psychiatrically stable
- Require a structured mental health treatment program
- Are not actively experiencing acute psychotic symptoms or are currently dependent on substances
- Are willing to participate in regular outpatient care
- Can pay via private insurance, self-pay, or community funding resources
