Our partial hospitalization program in NJ is ideal for people who are stepping down from an inpatient recovery program or seeking addiction treatment for the first time.
Our PHP allows clients to continue living at home and engaging in most of their usual day-to-day activities, such as work or school, while receiving care. While participating in this substance abuse treatment program, clients visit the treatment center for just a few hours each day to attend support group sessions, receive behavioral health counseling or take part in enriching addiction recovery activities such as music therapy or art therapy.
PHP programs are best for clients who are transitioning from residential treatment back into their own homes and need a little extra support. They’re also a good option for those who’ve experienced a minor relapse and need a bit of help getting back on track.
If you’re unable to attend the partial hospitalization program due to personal or financial reasons, our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a good alternative.
Clients who participate in IOP programs are required to spend about 10 hours per week engaged in counseling and therapy programs at the recovery center. This can include a mix of group therapy, individual therapy and recreational therapy.
This type of treatment plan is designed for clients who are ready to spend more time focusing on getting back to their regular life. It’s considered a step down from a PHP program.
If you have already received intensive treatment services and need an ongoing recovery plan, our general outpatient program (GOP) is a good choice.
GOP recovery services can be customized to meet the needs of clients. They typically include a structured schedule that includes some combination of individual and group counseling, as well as recreational care such as art or music therapy. There is no general requirement when it comes to how many hours per week clients need to receive aftercare in this type of program.
These programs are often recommended to clients who have completed an IOP program and require a little extra support before reducing their visits to biweekly or monthly behavioral therapy counseling or group therapy sessions. They can also be useful for individuals who’ve previously completed a n addiction treatment center program and are at risk of relapse.
