Recovery at the Crossroads offers a full range of outpatient addiction services, including care for individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders. Our programs include individual therapy and group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication-assisted treatment, EMDR, and trauma-informed care. We also provide culturally sensitive, faith-aligned care for members of the Jewish community, including kosher recovery services. Each client receives a personalized treatment plan based on clinical needs and spiritual values.
We serve adults throughout New Jersey who are struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. While our programs are open to all, we are uniquely equipped to support Jewish clients, especially those from Orthodox communities, with respect for halachic observance, cultural traditions, and privacy. We also welcome professionals, parents, and community members who seek a discreet and compassionate path to recovery.

Yes. Your privacy is a top priority. We follow all HIPAA regulations and additional federal confidentiality laws specific to substance use treatment. No one will be informed of your participation without your explicit written consent. We understand the importance of discretion, particularly for clients in small or religious communities.
We offer several levels of care to meet the needs of our clients, including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and extended care housing through partnerships. Our programs are designed to help clients stabilize, gain insight, and build long-term recovery skills. Whether you are stepping down from residential care or starting your journey, we tailor treatment to your level of need.
You begin with a thorough clinical assessment conducted by a licensed professional. This process helps us understand your substance use history, mental health concerns, and personal goals. Based on this assessment, we recommend a level of care that fits your current situation and supports long-term recovery.
Yes. We are one of the few facilities in the region to offer kosher recovery. We provide kosher meals, Shabbat-friendly scheduling, and spiritually sensitive programming that aligns with Orthodox Jewish customs. This faith-integrated care allows clients to focus on recovery while maintaining religious observance.
Most clients can begin treatment within 24 to 48 hours of their initial intake call, depending on insurance verification and clinical fit. We understand that timing is critical when someone is ready for care, so we prioritize efficient and compassionate admissions.

Yes. Psychiatric evaluations and medication management are available when clinically appropriate. This may include medications for mental health conditions or medication-assisted treatment for opioid or alcohol use disorders. All medication services are integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan.
Treatment length depends on your individual needs, goals, and progress. Some clients benefit from 30 to 60 days of care, while others engage in longer-term outpatient support. We regularly review your progress and adjust services as needed.

At Recovery at the Crossroads, outcomes vary depending on several key factors, including diagnosis, level of care, duration of engagement, external supports, and the presence of co-occurring mental health conditions.
Program completion: Across our outpatient, intensive outpatient, and extended care programs, approximately 60 to 75 percent of clients complete their recommended level of care. Completion rates tend to be higher among clients who engage consistently, maintain stable housing and employment, and participate in aftercare planning and ongoing therapy.
Six-month recovery outcomes: Clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions in addition to substance use disorders often demonstrate stronger outcomes in the short term. Around 55 to 65 percent of these individuals report meaningful improvement or sustained recovery at six months, especially when they remain engaged in follow-up services. Clients with more complex or severe co-occurring disorders may experience lower short-term stability, with 30 to 45 percent maintaining recovery at the six-month mark. These individuals often require longer treatment durations, more intensive step-down support, or continuing care services.
Twelve-month recovery outcomes: At one year, outcomes reflect the chronic and relapsing nature of both addiction and certain mental health conditions. Among clients with less severe co-occurring conditions, 40 to 55 percent sustain recovery or demonstrate significant functional improvement. For individuals with more severe or persistent dual diagnoses, long-term recovery rates range from 25 to 40 percent, often supported by ongoing outpatient therapy, medication management, or periodic re-engagement in treatment.
Recovery is not a one-time event; it is a process. Many clients experience periods of progress, symptom recurrence, and renewed commitment to care. Re-entry into treatment is viewed as a clinical success, not a failure. Our program emphasizes personalized treatment planning, integrated mental health and substance use care, long-term relapse prevention, and aftercare coordination. We are committed to helping each client build a stable and meaningful life in recovery.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You may also contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline for confidential support at any time. Your safety is always the top priority.

Our team helps facilitate referrals and ensures a smooth transition into or out of our program based on your individual needs.
